Bombardier's new Global 7000 private jet puts most city flats to shame.

It is the biggest ever purpose built business jet and the first to have four living spaces.

The giant aircraft is already sold out until 2021 at a listed price of £55m.

The plane boasts a permanent designated rest area for the crew in addition to the four separate spaces, including an entertaining area with space for a giant TV and sofa, plus a shower room.

The dining set-up can comfortably seat six people who the company say will be served from the "industry’s largest and most well-appointed galley".

With a wingspan of 104ft and total length of 111ft 2in, up to 19 passengers can travel on the plane at one time.

Views out of extra-large windows to create the feeling of even more space and "more natural light than any other cabin in business aviation".

Its master bedroom suite has a fixed bed and a stand-up shower in the en suite while the entertainment and TV area is backed up by "aviation's fastest in-flight internet connectivity".

The plane's 7,400 nautical mile range means it can cover direct routes from global business centres such as New York to Mumbai or Sydney to San Francisco.

And Bombardier say it will be the largest business aircraft able to land at London City Airport courtesy of its impressive steep approach.

The Global 7000 is on show at the National Business Aviation Association conference and expo at the Henderson Executive Airport in Henderson, Nevada, until Thursday.
