Soap actress Paula Williamson has finally revealed the date of her wedding to Britain's most notorious prisoner, Charles Bronson.

The 37-year-old bride-to-be told Loose Women about the tightly-controlled itinerary for the big day, which will take place within the walls of a Yorkshire prison at 2pm on November 14th.

The former Coronation Street star will marry the 64-year-old career criminal in HMP Wakefield in a room usually reserved for parole board hearings watched by five close friends, before being allowed to spend just one hour together.

Paula, who has been communicating with Bronson since 2013, told the Loose Women panel that they had 'struggled' to secure a date for their nuptials, but said she was pleased it was finally happening.

'I will get to spend an hour with him and the close friends that are there, then I will go to a nearby hotel for a reception without him,' she said.

Plans for a family could follow, after the inmate at the top security jail recently demanded conjugal visits with his soon-to-be wife which have been so far denied.

Paula - who said her parents would not be in attendance at the ceremony - said she hopes to have a family one day as she revealed that the couple had spoken about having children. But she admitted their unique situation made the prospect 'difficult'.

WHEN WILLIAMSON FIRST MET BRONSON

Bronson is one of the country's most notorious prisoners and has spent the majority of the past four decades imprisoned for a series of violent crimes.

In recent years he has turned his hand to art and changed his surname from Bronson to Salvador in tribute to the Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dali.

He first struck up a relationship with Miss Williamson - who also had roles in Emmerdale and Hollyoaks - back in 2013 after they started writing to one another.

Bronson has previously said he wants to have children with Miss Williamson, claiming he would be the 'best dad in the world'.

He was first locked up for armed robbery in 1974, but during his time inside he has taken hostages in 10 prison sieges, attacked at least 20 prison officers and caused £500,000 in damage in rooftop protests.

Panellist Katie Price was more interested in whether the pair would be allowed to consummate the marriage, but Paula explained they would not be able to have sexual contact.

'So have you done anything more?' Katie questioned.

'We can't, unfortunately,' Paula explained they were allowed to touch and hug through bars and their ceremony will be held in an open court area.

The Loose Women panel were clearly concerned for Paula's safety in the company of the violent criminal.

She came under fire from panellist Jane Moore who questioned her belief that Bronson - who changed his name to Charles Salvador in 2014- had truly changed.

'Let me tell you, Charles Bronson was a very violent offender and prisoner if not the most violent,' she said.

'Charles Salvador is the man that I am marrying, he has not committed a violent offence at all. He changed his name in 2014 and since then he has not committed an offence.

'I would not be marrying Charles Bronson,' she concluded, before Jane pointed out he was that the inmate had committed a violent assault since then and was still the same person despite the name change.

Paula insisted that she had helped change Bronson since they first began writing to each other in 2013, when the actress praised him for a book he had written.

The concerned panel mentioned to Paula that if Bronson was ever to be released he would find it difficult to adjust to normal life after spending the majority of his life in an institution.

'I have to stop you there,' Paula interrupted. 'It's not "if", it's when he gets out.'

'It will be very difficult when he gets out for him and me.'

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV at 12.30pm
