She's been enjoying her luxurious stay in Thailand for the past week, sharing her experience with her fans on Instagram.

But on Friday, Sophie Monk, 37, turned the growing attention away from herself to highlight special cause.

The Bachelorette shared a snap of herself walking alongside an elephant on a dirt road at the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary, in Thailand.

She looked radiant in a short, white, wrap dress matched with sandals strolling with the gentle giant in the beautiful Thai countryside.

Sophie, who is staying at the exclusive Trisara resort, captioned the post: 'Can't believe this poor animal was so abused but now look at her.'

Clearly moved by the creature's story, she described the walk as: 'Such an eye opening experience ❤️ #phuketelephantsanctuary.'

Also posted to her Instagram story was a short clip of herself patting the elephant's trunk, likely captured by her best friend Oscar Gordon who is accompanying her on the trip.

Fans of the blonde beauty praised her for posting her experience on social media, including one who simply wrote: 'Aww so beautiful.'

'Heartbreaking! Thank you for using your platform to inform the world of the abuse and the amazing lady who has changed countless lives and given these gentle giants a home that is safe,' another said.

'It's sad there’s c**ts in this world who abuse/tortures innocent animals. They’re such beautiful creatures,' someone else added.

Sophie recently explained to KIIS FM's hosts Dave Hughes and Kate Langbroek the reason behind her self-imposed exile was to stop herself from revealing the winner.

'[I've gone to Thailand] to keep my mouth shut. And then look at me now, I answer the phone for you guys. I'm terrible,' she told Dave and Kate on Tuesday.
