Australian actor Joel Edgerton had fans' heads turning on Friday when he stepped out in New York for a special screening of Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.

The 41-year-old hunk showed off his new chic specs as he stopped to pose for photos while sporting a navy and white outfit.

The Sydney-born star looked ever-so stylish as he flaunted his fresh glasses that featured a thin black half-frame.

Joel smirked on for the cameras as he rocked an unshaven look at the screening.

He showed off a hint of chest hair as he left the top few buttons of his white long sleeves shirt undone.

To dress up his simple look, Joel threw on a navy jacket and lifted the collar up.

Leaning forward on his left leg and resting his hand in his pocket, Joel opted for faded dark blue slim cut pants which he rolled up at the bottom, while finishing off the outfit with a pair of brown boots.
